Recycling New Zealand art to make a clock

When you've got to the end of the year and your calendar has expired, it's sometimes too hard to throw the calendar away.  This was the case with our 2021 calendar of New Zealand native birds, beautifully created by New Zealand artist Michaela Cox.

The pictures were round, and about the right size for a clock face.  So I have recycled these pictures, together with some offcuts of timber from some other project, and with the addition of a simple clock mechanism, these beautiful pictures will live on for a few more years.
